Air Duct & Dryer Vent Cleaning FAQ
Straight answers about the work, the booking, and what to expect. No promises that cannot be documented — just how the service actually works.
Booking & Pricing
How do I get a price for my job?
Call or text the service point nearest you. Pricing is quoted per job after a look at the system, because property size, vent count, and duct condition all change the scope. You receive the quote before any work is scheduled.
Is there a charge for the quote itself?
Call and describe the property — in many cases the quote can be given from that description. If an on-site look is needed first, any cost for that visit is told to you before the visit is booked.
Is same-day service available?
Same-day service is often available, especially for dryer vent calls. It depends on the day's schedule and your location. Calling early in the day gives the best chance at a same-day window.
Do you work on weekends?
Availability varies by service point and by week. Call the line for your city and you will hear the current scheduling options, including the earliest available window.
Air Duct Cleaning
How often should air ducts be cleaned?
No fixed schedule fits every property. Systems in homes with pets, recent renovations, or long run times collect debris faster. Many owners book after a remodel, after moving into a resale home, or when dust and odors point to the ducts.
Will duct cleaning improve my health or allergies?
No health outcome can be promised, and this site makes no such claim. Duct cleaning removes dust, lint, and debris from accessible duct surfaces, which helps reduce dust buildup in the duct system. Health questions belong with your doctor.
Will duct cleaning lower my energy bill?
No specific savings figure is promised here. Clean ductwork supports normal system operation by removing buildup that restricts airflow. The actual effect depends on the condition of your system, and anyone quoting a fixed percentage is guessing.
Do you clean mold from ducts?
Mold remediation is a separately licensed trade in Florida. If a look at your system suggests a mold issue, you will be told plainly, and remediation would be referred to a holder of the appropriate state license.
Dryer Vents
Why does dryer vent cleaning matter?
Lint is flammable, and the U.S. Fire Administration identifies failure to clean the dryer as a leading factor in home clothes dryer fires. Cleaning the vent helps reduce lint buildup in the line. No service can promise prevention, and none is promised here.
What are the signs of a clogged dryer vent?
Loads that need two cycles, a hot dryer top, a stuffy laundry room, lint around the exterior cap, and a burning smell during a cycle are the classic signs. A burning smell means stop using the dryer until the vent is checked.
Do you clean vents that exit through the roof?
Yes. Roof terminations are common in South Florida single-family homes. The full run is cleaned from the dryer connection to the roof cap, and the cap condition is reported back to you.
Property Types
Do you service high-rise condos?
Yes. High-rise and mid-rise condos are a large share of the work in Miami and Boca Raton. Building rules about work hours, elevator reservations, and association requirements are coordinated with the property manager before the visit.
Do you offer commercial service?
Yes. Offices, retail, salons, gyms, and restaurants are served with scheduling that limits disruption, including early morning and evening windows where the space allows. Recurring schedules are available for commercial accounts.
Can you work with my property manager or HOA?
Yes. Association requirements, access rules, and scheduling windows are arranged when the appointment is booked. The crew arrives knowing the building's rules.
